Embarking on a new year, project or workout plan and maintaining a high vibration is what’s hoped for by every sister, right? However, learning how to raise your vibration fast is the reality and truthfully, you’re not alone.
I’ve been confronted by the harsh reality of beginning a new set of rituals, only to be met with the dreaded low vibration. It can feel demotivating, especially when things are seemingly going well on the surface. I often have my spiritual practice down to a T, a morning routine I’m proud to uphold and no demons in the closet that I’m aware of, now that I’ve let go of perfectionism. But, sometimes, I just feel low and can’t get myself out of the funk.

“Sometimes, closing your planner for a weekend and simply being is enough to remind you of what’s important.”
I must begin with a full disclaimer that I’m not a qualified mental health practitioner. So, if your low moods are persistent, I wholeheartedly recommend that you seek support from a mental health practitioner in combination with the following strategies. Remember, a spiritual practice that works for one sister might not work for another.
Why raising your vibration is important
Raising vibrations is crucial not only for well-being, but for spiritual growth, too.
As the law of attraction states, positive thoughts and feelings attract positive experiences. So, a positive flow of energy is required through your body and mind to be on the right frequency to manifest. When your vibration is low and you’re in negative energy, you can create energetic blockages or resistance that will impact your manifestation efforts.
Ways to raise your vibration fast
As an intentional living advocate, the advice I’m about to provide isn’t the traditional advice of a spiritual guru. I’m looking at my sisters who have the rituals in place and, despite their best efforts, can’t get the positive vibrations flowing.
I recommend implementing the following actions to reignite the light and raise your vibration.
Establish your triggers
Establish if there’s a cause for the low vibration in the form of a trigger. It might be clear that it’s underlying stress from a project at work or an upcoming exam for your university studies.
The trigger could be less clear, too. If nothing is immediately clear, dig deeper. Perhaps it’s the recent success or failure of a manifestation (Yes, you can experience vibrational depletion after a successful manifestation) or an upcoming life event. For me, spending time with my friends is a high-vibrational activity. Nonetheless, I can be triggered into a low vibrational state by organising a seemingly enjoyable event, such as a dinner, hen do or holiday, with fears of it going wrong.
If your low vibration is caused by a trigger, it’s best to manage it. If it’s a stressful project at work or an upcoming university exam, could you build a personal timetable to complete the actions relating to it? From experience, having the visibility of actions with clear and definable deadlines is often enough to settle my nerves.
If it relates to the end of a successful manifestation, don’t make the mistake of moving on to the next manifestation as a recovery mechanism. Acknowledge and accept the feelings in a way that feels personal, such as guided meditation or journaling. Plus, did you celebrate your successful manifestation, sister? If not, now’s the time to pop the cork on that bottle of champagne to celebrate your achievement.
Live by your cycle
The phase of your menstrual cycle can also indicate the best strategy for raising your vibration. As outlined in a beautiful book, Do Less by Kate Northrup, there are four phases in a woman’s cycle:
Menstrual – Winter
Approximately 1 to 5 days
Resting, reflecting and limiting social engagements.
Follicular – Spring
Approximately 6 to 12 days
Having ideas, planting seeds of creation and initiating new projects.
Ovulation – Summer
Approximately 13 to 18 days
Engaging in social activities and attracting opportunities.
Luteal – Autumn
Approximately 19 to 28 days
Completing projects in preparation to slow down.
By living to your cyclical rhythm, you can put a stop to badly timed projects or resting in the wrong season. In turn, this can help to create a vibrational shift and diminish feelings of guilt to set you free.
Practise gratitude
Don’t get me wrong, sister, I believe in the power of gratitude as you learn how to raise your vibration fast. I cover it in greater detail in Your guide to gratitude and the law of attraction | Like attracts like. Depending on your energy levels, a gratitude practice such as The Magic by Rhonda Byrne can help to raise your vibration to astounding levels.
However, practising gratitude to raise your vibration isn’t always as straightforward as writing blessings in the morning and waiting for the magic to happen. In fact, if the low vibration is caused by overwhelm or stress, adding another activity to the list in the form of a rigorous gratitude practice might cause further discomfort.
If that’s the case, a less overwhelming task might be to write down or meditate upon one thing you’re grateful for each morning.
Slow down
Raising and lowering your vibration is associated with the law of attraction. But, using intentional living to slow down can work just as many miracles in changing your vibrational frequency. Trust me, working overdrive to complete tasks can be counterproductive, sister.
Sometimes, closing your planner for a weekend and simply being is enough to remind you of what’s important. Spend the weekend doing an activity that you love, whether it’s reading a magazine from cover to cover with a pot of tea (my favourite), making a shepherd’s pie with the radio blasting or having a walk in the park with your loved ones. Truthfully, the activity you crave is in your heart. So, only you can decide what feels intentional for slowing down.
How long does it take to raise your vibration?
Sister, the time it takes to raise your vibration is down to your unique circumstances, including the specific practices that you’ve engaged in. Starting The Magic will be more impactful than writing one blessing a day, and an intentional weekend spent might be enough to remind you of what’s important. But, some sisters might experience a shift in their energy quicker than others after incorporating a positive practice, and that’s OK.
I stress again that if you’re experiencing a low mood for a prolonged period, it’s best to consult your general practitioner before learning how to raise your vibration fast. If any points in this article have resonated with you, I would love to hear how in the comments. Or, you can contact me.

Love this! I’m all about trying to keep my vibration high but like you say sometimes we all fall into that low vibrational state but I love your tips. One thing that helps me a lot is simply listening to my favourite music an I find that it often brings my vibration back up pretty quickly but as you say everyone is unique and it doesnt always work for me.
Thanks for sharing your favourite practice, Laura! I agree – music certainly has the power to raise my vibration, too. ❤️
