Five days after a traumatic loss in 2020, I stood in a queue at my local supermarket and felt called to change my life. I hadn’t even finished reading You Are A Badass by Jen Sincero – the book that sparked my first spiritual awakening – before I’d packed my bags and moved from the English countryside to London.
Six months on, I burnt myself out. I sought solace in the law of attraction – in particular, a 28-day gratitude practice called The Magic by Rhonda Byrne – and had my second spiritual awakening. This time, I went full-on woo-woo!
I practised being intentional with my goals, values and choices as part of the law of attraction. Then, I stumbled upon intentional living on YouTube and had an epiphany – it was the lifestyle I’d been searching for, all along.
It might sound cliché, but the law of attraction and intentional living have changed my life, and I believe they can change yours, too. I hope Intentional Lucie is a quiet space on the internet for you to take five minutes, be kind to yourself and enjoy a hot cuppa.
